Our Food

We cater for all types of diets

Our chef sources all ingredients from local suppliers. All meals and baking is cooked fresh on site, and we cater for a variety of diets. We serve four meals a day – morning tea, lunch (includes dessert), afternoon tea and dinner. Below is one of our weekly menus – these are rotated and updated regularly.

MONDAY

  • Freshly made sandwiches
  • Devilled sausages served with a medley of fresh vegetables, followed by fresh seasonal fruit and rice pudding
  • Decadent chocolate cake
  • Fresh pizza served with soup, followed by fresh seasonal fruit

TUESDAY

  • Moist fruit loaf
  • Tasty steak and kidney pie served with a medley of fresh vegetables, followed by moist fruit sponge and custard
  • Scrummy banana cake
  • Fresh ham salad served with soup, followed by fresh seasonal fruit

WEDNESDAY

  • A medley of savouries
  • Succulent lamb casserole served with a medley of fresh vegetables, followed by creamy banana custard
  • Decadent chocolate slice
  • Freshly poached eggs on toast served with soup, followed by fresh seasonal fruit

THURSDAY

  • Freshly baked muffins
  • Shaved ham served with a carrot salad and coleslaw, followed by rhubarb crumble and ice cream
  • Spicy ginger slice
  • Mince pie served with soup, followed by fresh seasonal fruit

FRIDAY

  • Cheese and cracker platter
  • Grilled fish served with a medley of fresh vegetables, followed by steamed pudding and fresh custard
  • Buttery shortbread
  • Homemade macaroni cheese served with soup, followed by fresh seasonal fruit

SATURDAY

  • Freshly baked cheese scones
  • Sweet and sour pork served on a bed of rice with glazed carrots and peas, followed by trifle and fruit salad
  • Yo Yo’s
  • Fresh salmon salad served with soup, followed by fresh seasonal fruit

SUNDAY

  • Freshly baked muffins
  • Succulent roast lamb with mint sauce served with roast vegetables, followed by parfaits
  • Moist fruitcake
  • Quiche served with soup, followed by fresh seasonal fruit
