Residents bringing own furniture?

We will try and accommodate a residents own furniture, please discuss with facility manager

Can my family and friends visit?

Yes family and friends are welcome. We encourage family to be involved in all aspects of the residents care and activities.

Can my pets come with me?

Yes, depending on the type of pet. Please contact us to discuss.

Will someone help me with my medication?

Yes our staff are happy to help you with your medication if required.

Will I have my own bathroom

Is alcohol permitted?

Yes we do allow alcohol, in moderation and depending on medication.

Will I have my own phone in my room?

The majority of our rooms have a jackpoint. We also have a seperate residents phone line and two cordless phones which can be used in the bedrooms.

Will my room have heating?

Most heating in our rooms is underfloor heating.

Am I allowed to smoke?

We have a No Smoking policy for all our buildings – there is however a designated smoking area available to residents.

Do you have Palliative care?

We do provide palliative care in conjunction with Waipuna Hospice. We like to keep our residents in familiar surroundings.

Do you provide respite care?

We have one dedicated room for respite care and other rooms are used for respite care as available.

Am I able to come for a short period of time?

If we have the room available we are happy to accommodate a short stay.
